It’s a neat little piece, and lengthy (6 minutes) that gives us good insight on creation of this wonderful movie and more about Abrams’ ideas. From the director of CLOVERFIELD – here is the trailer to LET ME IN. The cute thing with this is that it’s a re-make of a Swedish vampire flick. Not so many of those around, actually, so see this as a unique little gem. We’re of course hoping that Matt is coming back to Cloverfield 2, which seems to be the case.

J. J. Abrams’ SUPER 8 – TEASER [HD]

J. J. Abrams will release SUPER 8 – his next cool alien monster flick – on June 10, 2011. And it looks awesome! Steven Spielberg is producing what seems to be ultra mayhem and really neat stuff. From what we can see in the teaser, the story revolves around what happens when a train with secret extra-terrestrial monsters (we assume!) crashes outside Area 51.

Well – it LOOKS cool enough to be neat. And the title ensures us that this is in fact a CLOVERFIELD-prequel, since the film takes place in the 1960′s. No video cameras then – only, yes, Super 8! So we’re looking forward to this!!

“Cloverfield is better on DVD”, J. J. Abrams says. Well – we must agree! It’s a wonderful film in itself, but yes, it is this “found footage” type of film, and it IS supposed to be viewed on a TV. Here is a cool interview with Abrams himself, talking about Cloverfield, Star Trek and other things. Short but really neat piece.

And if you don’t own the DVD/BluRay of Cloverfield yet – head over here and buy it right away. It’s SO good!
