Well, either way, what we're looking for is usual Hollywood Politics. As soon as a feature becomes a little bit "too big" before the release, the other studios do what they can to get their share of it.
Fox of course don't want to stop it (even if that's what media reports are all about) but to get a piece of the pie.
Don't be surprised if the film gets released as scheduled in March - but with a few percentages heading towards Fox.
And from what I understand of the trailer - we're going to be able to get one of the better adaptations ever made!

9 is soon here! On 9-9-09, to be more exact! :)
IMDb describes it as a "post-apocalyptic nightmare in which all of humanity is threatened". The trailer (check it out here) seems to show a film that's really a mix between NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS and FALLOUT 3!
Great mix, in my opinion.
Anyway, 9 seems to be a film to look out for. Jennifer Connelly, Elijah Wood and many other famous voices appears in this animated feature that seems to be a grim look on the future to be.
And of course it's grim - Tim Burton produces it. Hence, the feeling of Nightmare...

HUD here with some tales about the ol' SEO-thingy. Yeah, I've fiddled around with it a lot myself, and it's always a pleasant thing when Google indexes your site as #1 on a highly praised keyword.
Gone are the days when you simply could use the meta-tags, submit your site and wait - and BAM there it was, #1.
Today, it's a little bit more tricky.
Busby SEO Test is an interesting blog that tries to go beyond common practice, and actually does some cool SEO tests! I like the idea, and I wish them all the best. I for one will keep reading to see what happens, because learning more is number one key to be best in the SEO business.
PageRank is still a very valid thing when it comes to top listnings. Well, that too is extremely difficult! I won't go into details, but high PageRank (preferably 6+!) will get you a lot of ca$h!
Speaking of money - here is a Make Money Online blog that I stumbled upon. Not much there now, but I'm sure they'll fill the place with more interesting things to come. I like the first post, and I'm sure this will get busy!
Ok... HUD signing off for now. I need to catch a movie! ;)

DARK KNIGHT seems to be one of the most searched after films ever. It's the most searched after movie on IMDb in 2008.
The new Blu-ray of DARK KNIGHT seems to be sold out everywhere, and not only because it's a great film, but also because the Blu-ray itself is a great release.
Buy a copy yourself to the right and get a digital copy too! Interesting deal, I must say, since that's really a good way to tackle the piracy problem.
DARK KNIGHT is now #4 on IMDb's Top 250, which is really a good sign to say that this was the Movie of the Year!
Great work there, Nolan! I really hope that next installment in this saga can keep this up. I mean, BATMAN BEGINS was great, DARK KNIGHT even better - how are they going to be able to top this?

The new trailer for TERMINATOR: SALVATION is a real bombastic piece of action! Brilliant stuff.
If the film itself is this good, then we're up for a ride we haven't seen since T2.
I myself dislikes the third part, and feels that this fourth installment will be a nice reboot for the franchise. I'm not super exicted about the SCC-show either - mostly because it just focuses on the same stuff over and over, in every episode.
But T4 will probably be something different, and new. I like that!
Check out the new cool trailer here.

This is going to be something really increadible! The lift from old school STAR TREK to super-modern Abrams' storyline will be just awesome.
Obviously, there will be lots of Trekkies that feels that the original Trek is lost - but I feel differently.
On the contrary, I believe J. J. Abrams' STAR TREK will become a wonderful picture, probably with some in-jokes from CLOVERFIELD if we're lucky.
The new trailer (check it out here!) is just great! The funny first teaser trailer was great, but this new one really shows what we're going to get: total coolness!
From the beautiful Earth cities and structures, to the action-packed space fight scenes - this is going to be just great!

WATCHMEN - one of the best comic books ever made - is heading for relase in March 2009.
A new HOT trailer is out on Apple - check it out!
Swedish Malin Åkerman leads the team in this increadible tale, and what seems to be a frame-by-frame rendering of the graphic novel into live action.
I can't stress this enough: it looks totally increadible. It's just awesome. Wonderful. Beautiful!
If you never read WATCHMEN, then pick up a copy NOW at Amazon - because you SHOULD have read the book before you see the film. Not only because it's great - but also because you will be amazed about the ending - and keep thinking:
Will they really make THIS on FILM??? WOW!

I actually watched ROMANCING THE STONE again, just a few days ago. And I then thought it would work perfectly for a remake.
It just so happens that FOX is bringing it back! According to the Hollywood Reporter, who also says that former DreamWorks head Daniel McDermoth will write the script to the new installment.
The first ROMANCING... feature was written by Diane Thomas, and her life is a story for a movie itself.
She was working as a waitress when she wrote the first film, and then, just after its release, she died in a car accident. The sequel was not written by her - and not as good either.
Lets hope that the new version is going to be a true classic, just as the first one was! ROMANCING THE STONE was one of the 80's real hit-films, and really provided everything a movie from the happy 1980's should have: Danny deVito, djungles, a girl in distress, a handsome Michael Douglas and lots of bad guys portraited in a black/white fashion. Great stuff!
